  From a Paralympic athlete smuggling Viagra across the border to trying to a football player breaking into a pizza parlor after hours, here are some of America's most mischievous and checkered athletes.


Gilbert Arenas

Why?

Rap sheet: Edwards has been pulled over several times for excessive speeding and was charged with misdemeanor assault for allegedly attacking a friend of this basketball star outside an Ohio club in 2009.

Why?

Lawrence Taylor

Why?

Rap sheet: Taylor has a history of drug abuse and alcohol abuse and has even talked about sex with prostitutes.

Adam 'Pacman' Jones

 Who: WWE wrestler (highlights). What is his real name?

Why?

Rap sheet: The arrest led to more trouble for Jericho. He had a previous run-in with the law when a female fan did this.

Plaxico Burress


 Who: Quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles (highlights)

Why?

Rap sheet: Vick was linked to questionable incidents before the dogfighting charges.
